Some society get theirs close to clockwork, for others, it seems completely unselective. For almost all individuals, there is SOME sort of stencil, so watch for it.
A time of year becomes irregular when it does not appear at it's typical time, when it is heavier or lighter than usual, or last for a different amount of time than usual.
This can be caused by want of nutrition, excessive work-outs or pregnancy; but most commonly caused by stress.

An irregular period is one to be precise extra light or extra lashing compared to your regular periods. Also it may be contained by the wrong part of your cycle which could be determined a miscarriage if it is a heavy one. Anything out of you norm of period.
